Drummers Insignia

Hey everyone, I need help identifying this piece. It's a drummers insignia that I dug in a farm field. My question, is it one like Johnny Clem would have worn?

These were not typical, but have been found in ACW sites, mostly in the Western theatre. Charles S Harris' relic book "Civil War Relics of the Western Campaigns" has one on page 209 and another was known to have been dug in Vicksburg recently. Most likely a state regiment or regiments decided to have them made.

I am by no means an expert on "relics" just enough to be dangerous. I have searched extensively for any information on your "dug in a farm field" besides the image posted here and the only other similar to identical is the one "dug" in Vicksburg. However, I have found an unending amount of pages in which there is a multitude of strikingly similar badges/insignia I found along with copious amounts of information on drummer, drum major, drum major military badges, pins and insignia and nearly everything available online points to
