On June 27th, an in-person and online lecture at Mariner's Museum in Newport News, Virginia. The subject will be the ineffectiveness of the Monitor at Drewry's Bluff as it could not elevate its guns high enough to shell the fort. Despite the critical report written by the Monitor's commander, the design continued throughout the war.
