I found a link to a site called "Civil War Voices -- Soldier Stories." The site is supposed to have 10 letters transcribed from a soldier that I would like to learn more about (PVT. WILLIAM J. LOWRY, 45th North Carolina Infantry). However, when I try to register for an account, the page doesn't allow me to. Is anyone familiar with this site.

I couldn't get in except by going through links on the Twitter page but that didn't let me search. I could get into the letters archive, maybe if you are willing to go back page by page you can find what you want? Or, you might could contact the site owner via Twitter and see if he can help you.

There are two transcribed letters from William Lowry, 45 NC on Griff's Civil War Letters. Griff is a guy who offers to transcribe letters for folks that are listing them for sale on Ebay in exchange for being able to post them on his website.

Here's the link to his site: https://billyyankjohnnyreb.wordpress.com/2015/12/05/list-of-soldiers-letters/

And here's a link to an interview he did on CivilWarTalk Radio (not to be confused with CivilWarTalk website!)
