Beautiful mementos of witness trees from historic battlefields of the Civil War. I have one from Brices Cross Roads and I am saving it for my grandson when he graduates from Ole Miss and begins his career.

@ucv I appreciate you working with Doc Garry to provide members an opportunity to secure a piece of history! Good Work and thank you for your efforts.

Richard do you have a Shiloh pen yet? Please reserve one for me.
Regards
David

Thanks Richard. I am having a ball working with you and Doc. If I had to pick a favorite from Doc's web site I would be torn between beauty and civil war significance. If I chose beauty it would be this one which came from a lightening strike on the witness tree. Being the Master Craftsman with a keen eye for detail, Doc saw the charred wood and found a way to work it in this particular pen.

Shiloh pen yet
Doc sent a few more to Larry from the other wood we got. The first wood only produced 3 as it was worm eaten and Doc had to use a lot of epoxy. Larry got one I got one and Doc got one.

No problem. I am waiting patiently and looking forward to more Shiloh Witness Pens coming.
Regards
David

I would have @16thAL go by there or call as the 2nd set of wood was only enough to produce a limited number of pens.

After my surgery, I will do my best to visit Mr. DeBerry on my next visit to the Park.'
