LoC images, bring us two different feasts prepared for wounded- I think one was Alexandria but cannot prove it. Since we like sources sources sources here at CWT will refrain from stating this as fact. I think both are holiday meals, by some stroke of fortune a photographer was present during both preparations. If I do find proof, will come back and post. It consists of ' whiffs ' found in nurse diaries, etc.

Pretty cool!

I think there are turkey legs visible? With paper coverings? Somewhere I have better images. It's very dark at the other end, wish the women were more visible.

The bottles of booze (I am assuming alcohol in them) are wide spread. Not enough. If they would double the amount I am sure they would have doubled the cheer!!
