Dec 15 thru 21 Cook Award Week

Since I will be away most of the week Dec 15 thru 21, I am posting ideas for that week. The National Food Days are:

Dec 15 National Cupcake Day
Dec 16 National Chocolate Covered Anything Day
Dec 17 National Maple Syrup day
Dec 18 National Roast Suckling Pig Day
Dec 19 National Hard Candy Day
Dec 20 National Fried Shrimp Day
Dec 21 National Sangria Day

Chanukah/Hanukkah starts Wednesday, Dec 17th and runs for eight days. I know there are many great recipes used during that time.

Just keep the Christmas recipes coming too.

Also any posts on Christmas during the Civil War with emphasis on foods and how they celebrated are always appreciated.
