For thirty-eight years I have had the privilege of being the only authorized Scrimshander for Randall Made Knives® of Orlando Florida. In 2010 one of my customers was invited, by the CSS Alabama Association, to dive on CSS Alabama off the coast of Cherbourg France. To commemorate this once in a lifetime opportunity he commissioned me to scrimshaw CSS Alabama on a Randall Model #12-9" with a #25 handle and ivory center section.

Love the Randall Combat Number 1, excuse me, Model 12. It looks exactly like a Number 1. I like your work also, very nice.

I've done a few Civil War pieces over 38 years but most were back before the internet and digital cameras!
