Congratulations to everyone!!!! I adore the Food Forum. So much fun sharing recipes and learning about cooking of a bygone era.

Congratulations!

I don't wanna say nothin', but the holidays are coming up. :whistling: I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with. I have elastic waistband skirts ready to go.

LOL! You want to unleash the holiday cooking beast? :sluggish: Uh-oh, I think come the new year we're going to have to start offering exercise advice to go with our food recipes!

Much congrats to all! Donna is able to bring back an award post on this thread, temporarily on vacation, and presents her cyber prize to all with very real thanks!

Donna's Food Forum cyber Prize for winners from October 1 through 16 is an antique apple print, ( from Pinterest ). Botanical, fruit and vegetable prints were wildly popular in the 19th century both is books and as framed art. We're extremely lucky these have never stopped being in print although you can still purchase originals on most auction sites and larger frame shops.

To all the winners,
@Legion Para for "Pizza Lover"

@Stiles/Akin for "Comforting Chicken Noodle Crock Pot" and 'Weights and Measures"

@Anna Elizabeth Henry for "Crock Pot Stroganoff" and' "Vegetarian Gumbo" and "Flaxseed History In America"

@Pvt.Shattuck for "Mark Twain's Bill of Fare"

@nitrofd for all the National Days for Oct., especially "National Angel Food Cake Day",
