Cook Awards for August

As some have mentioned in some other threads, August starts new cook award month. Besides National Days for Food and National Foods of the month, hope many of you post on the vegetables and fruits from your gardens and add recipes using them.

I know so many of you grow your own vegetables and fruits, so this a good addition to the Food Forum. Also old (authentic} recipes on these foods would be appreciated.
