Hi guys
Just joined here - was referred to the site from the guys at treasurenet.com. I originally posted this in the unsubscribed member forum but was just approved so i moved it here. I am a ww2 collector but always had an historical interest in the civil war and only started collecting recently as i was never really able to afford most of the civil war items out there. I picked up this revolver at a garage sale for $150 and when i brought it home began researching it and attempted to get it fully functioning. After some time i figured out how to remove the cylinder and clean out the mechanisms which are all working great. The action is nice and smooth like the day it was made. I thought at first it was a Kerr revolver but wasnt really sure. Some have suggest a le matt revolver and again it was just a suggestion. There are marks on the barrel RC with an anchor inbetween the letters. There is also numerous proof marks that appear to be an anchor as well only slightly modified. These appear to be laying on their side. Thanks in advance for all your help and look forwarding to learning from all the experts on the boards.
