This is a kit by the UK company Stormtroopers . It is about 1/10th scale and the master was sculpted by Carl Reid . It is a half figure and is about 3" from the belt to the top of the head . I used some pigments to make the clothing look dirty and worn . Painted in acrylics.

It looks like the one I painted isn't currently in production .
I was able to google some websites that sale his figures but they were in UK. I would like to find a shop in the US. Also searched eBay and they have 2 busts: one holding a rifle on his shoulder and one plain soldier wearing a slouch hat.

The bust with a slouch hat looks good , but I don't think you can buy them in the U.S. anymore since Red Lancers went out of business after the death of the owner . I've never ordered direct from the UK , but that might be the only option . I'm betting shipping will be high .

I just don't want anything coming from China or Hong Kong for now. I can ship on my FedEx account but some will not use them.
After looking around on eBay, I found another figure that I want---Herman Goring Division Panzer officer. I've never seen one designed just for that unit but I can paint a standard Army figure into Luftwaffe. Sorry I digress.

I tried Michigan Toy Soldiers but it doesn't look like they carry Stormtroopers.
I'm pretty sure I've purchased direct from them a couple of times. They ship internationally for 8.50 pounds, which is around $10.00 in real money (that's a poke at Rebel Brit).
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Who? Michigan Toy Soldiers?
Or do you have a UK seller?

I found one seller who had a nice website and nice resin figures. I sent an inquiry and got an immediate reply: don't carry those.
I would buy from UK. Just so they have it shipped from China.

I would not hesitate to buy from Stormtroopers in the UK. It's been a few years since I purchase from them, but the shipping was pretty fast if I remember correctly, something like two weeks. With whats going on in the world right now, it may take longer. They do limited runs on figures, so if you see one you like, buy it now, don't wait.

And I have purchased from Michigan Toy Soldiers too, and I would buy from them again, too. If you do a "power search on their site, you'll bring up 200+ pages of figures from various manufacturers. I'm looking on their site now to see if they have any Confederate flag bearers.

The last time I checked their site they didn't have nearly the selection that they used to . Dave Youngquist used to work there years ago . He does lots of YouTube videos on painting miniatures . I think he left after the owner got into trouble with Peter Jackson . Dave ran "Last Cavalry" where I've been buying most of my miniatures lately , but he has temporarily closed it due to the virus . I hope it is just temporary . I will definitely look into ordering direct from Stormtroopers . Mitches Military Models is another UK vendor with some very nice figures .

I would like to see a photo of the figure and base; maybe shown sitting on a book shelf. I'm debating whether to attempt a 1/2 figure. That seems rather odd but these two flag bearers are very attractive.
Q: Have you ever tried painting the face with Oil paints? I'm not big into oil but I tried it because oils usually comes in colors that easily mix to make Flesh tone.

I found a 1/16 scale figure of a WW2 German figure I was looking for. So I may hold off buying a larger figure until I see how this one turns out. Besides, I still have my Verlinden 120mm figure of Stonewall Jackson that I should paint.

Since it will be a German Panzer trooper, it will be wearing a black uniform.
Q: Any suggestions on how to paint a black uniform with shadows & highlights?
