Confederate Bayonet Scabbards

I have noticed lots of Confederate reenactors use the style of scabbard above for their impressions, although MB&S along with LD Hanning produce a different style of scabbard like the one below, and one I've noticed is similar to an original and a couple of photos. So is the one above a "reenactorism"?

The two part scabbard/frog is the British Style used by Enfield Rifle Muskets. In theory, every CS imported Enfield was supposed to come with a bayonet, scabbard, frog, and rifle sling.

The other type of scabbard is the American style, with different variations depending on who made it. These would have been the vast majority of scabbards used by soldiers.

The English scabbards while not completely wrong are way overdone in reenacting IMO and rarely done correctly with the complete set of English accoutrements. As already said the American style either CS produced or acquired Federal would be the most common.
