I need some help from you experts. I'm considering purchase of a Colt Root that has been restored. The seller didn't do the restoration and has no information on what was done. These are the only pictures I have. It is supposed to work well as designed. Your thoughts please ? Thank you.

It has the usual problems with older pistols, especially the ones that have been 'restored' - the screw slots. The surface looks quite reasonable - no pitting or visible rust and what appears to be original finish, worn in the expected places - and the grips have the usual 'used' look. If the finish was restored it was done long ago and the pistol used since then. As for pricing, I have no idea about the US market so cannot comment.
