ENDED Colonel shoulder boards

Hi everyone,

I posted earlier this year looking for embroidered eagle badges that anyone might have for sale here. Unfortunately I didn't find any so I'm trying for some colonels boards, I've missed out on so many but would just about die for something from Jim Frasca's collection. He had the best colonel boards I've ever seen but I'd prefer ones that are less than my mortgage payment Don Troiani had a phenomenal infantry pair but I think they went to a museum. Anything like these pictures, thanks for any leads!

Thanks, those are nice! I'll definitely take a further look. I've got a cased set I'm trying to identify the rank insignia on. Eagle AND silver oak leaves with acorns? Any ideas?

I thought so too! I remember reading that on another forum although never saw it in any regulations. The rank is naval I believe as the buttons are of that branch and the post war Horstmann markings on the underside don't go past 1893.
