Maryland...'bout 55 miles south of Gettysburg.

CS guerrillas in northern Virginia and they handed him one of his few defeats late in the war
near Harper's Ferry.

Maryland soldier images areVERY hard to find, to say the very least! Of course, it wasn't and isn't a large state like
Pennsylvania and so the population was not so great. Also, although the majority of the state
was for the north...thousands of them went south.
