Eager to contribute for both, learned tons about Bristoe Stn reading Jeff Wm Hunt's post Gburg series. The more acreage the merrier…

Most of the acreage is at Bristoe Station which is important cause if they don't get it now they never will. Everything else around that battlefield is gone.
Understood, donating what I can and will keep doing so. Lots of competing projects, e.g Chalmette in New Orleans.
I donated $100 = $2700 A preservation project that cant be passed up at a $27 to $1 matching donation.
Thanks! Every bit helps.

Sending in $50. I consider both to be important preservation projects! You are right that it is hard to pass up the $27 to $1! That is wonderful! I don't have ancestors that fought at either site but that doesn't matter - someone does! We can't save it all, yet it is hard to watch it get gobbled up by development! Greed is a powerful thing and that is what we are fighting against!
