I really don't want to but where its at I have to keep together and not come off the main stock, but don't worry "I got a guy"
 
I agree I would repair it, is it broken clean no missing wood ,what does the left side look like. Are you going to repair it with colored acra glass or colored epoxy Man I like it.

I will take some tomorrow but I can tell you the the FWC for Francis W Cook cartouche is still visible behind the saddle ring bar as it should be for all the Alabama contract muskets. Still shaking :cold:

I really don't know, all I know is I got a CW wood guy who climes "I will never see the repair"
 
Do you know any history on it. Who the initials belong to on the stock.

Yes I do, but before I post just want to do my research. The carbine is "right as rain" and I believe the family history also.
