Civil War Weather

Hi out there. I am presently writing an article on the Battle of Missionary Ridge and could use some help. Is there any info on weather reports from Nov 25th, 1863 to Dec 10th, 1863 specifically at Nashville and Chatanooga. I know forts and posts might have posted weather and temp. Thanks

I don't know if this will be any help. But if it's possible to find diaries of the men that participated in those battles they sometimes would put down the weather that day good luck.

I know accurate weather reporting just did not exist at the time. Some people for whatever reason did write down their observations. It can be hard to pin down. Best of luck to you on your search. I would like to hear how you do in your search.
