The 13th Annual Civil War Preservation Ball will be held in the Rotunda of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building in Harrisburg, 7:00-10:00PM on Saturday, April 2, 2016.

The Philadelphia Brigade Band will again provide the dance music and the Victorian Dance Ensemble will lead the dancing.

Advance reservations required - $65.00 per couple and $35.00 single.

Remember – unlike many balls – all of the profit from this ball goes to the Pennsylvania Gettysburg Monument Project. In the last twelve years, we have raised over $83,000 for this worthy cause!

We hope you will be able to join us for this worthwhile preservation event that has been described as the nation's best Civil War ball in the most spectacular setting. For pictures of last year's ball, see www.CivilWarDance.org.

To help you prepare for the ball, our Civil War Dancing DVD is now available for sale. It includes a formal ball with our dancers in period attire in the rotunda of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building and an instructional portion with our dancers in modern attire and detailed descriptions of the various dance moves. For a preview of the DVD, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9l6r2Ae-g4.

We are also soliciting donations for the Monument Endowment Fund. Individuals, organizations (Reenactment Units, CWRTs, SUV & SCV Camps, etc.) and businesses are encouraged to support the cause by becoming supporter, patron or advertiser in the ball program.
