Hello, i have inherited what i believe to be a Civil War Hook Pike and Pike on a pole. I found an identical hook pike listed with Cowans Auction house in 2002 and I believe the pole pike is a Georgia style. Any help identifying these would be great. I really appreciate anyone lending their expert opinion.
I do not now the history of these items at all. The Hook pike is about 30" long and has a number 5 stamped into one side. The pole pike is 106" in total length. The pole is about 1 1/4" in diameter and looks to be in very good condition. At the end is a tapered metal cap.
I can send or post more pictures if needed. I would like to sell these as soon as I can get them correctly
identified.
Again thank you all for your time.
