Civil War Canteen?

Anyone know if this canteen is US Civil War era?

Its a model 1858 but the markings appear to be post war. Look on the spout and see if there is a makers mark.

I would love to know the rest of the maker's mark on the spout. I have a similar canteen with a "A. JE.." visible, but the rest of the mark is lost to rust. Thanks for your help.

Albert Jewett was a New York manufacturer who had contracts to manufacture canteens for the US Government.
