Civil War Augusta - Updates

A few new items from the Augusta, Kentucky front:

• The website has been launched!
• We have started an Adopt-A-Soldier program which will allow Union Civil War veterans to have their grave marked with a GAR marker and flag. We are hoping to work with local SCV groups to install headstones for the unknown Confederates.
• We have started a GoFundMe page to help cover costs for the anniversary weekend in September as well as some other projects we have in mind. One day in and we have had five donations already, and are looking for more (shameless plea for money).
• We are now accepting memberships via the old fashioned download a form and mail it in method (one day we hope to have the ability to do so online). Our memberships are affordable and lifetime, no need to renew.
• We have created a Speaker Series that will take place once every quarter and cover a wide scope of Civil War topics.
