I found these two similar objects, made of iron, on Ft. Bisland battleground -- but hundreds of feet apart. Anyone have any idea if they are CW-related . . . or maybe just tractor or plow parts?

I'm having a hard time with my phone. The previous plow point pictures are copied from ebay. We must have proper attribution.

If I am looking in the right field, were they closer to modern 90 or the airport? Topo map from 50s and aerial from 64' shows a pumping station on the corner the wood line on Southeast edge of field. Lots a construction going on around field margins with many of possibilities for your finds.

I found them on the opposite side of Bayou Teche (not the side that the airport and Hwy. 90 are on) where General Mouton had his defensive line. There are sugarcane fields on both sides of the bayou, and have been since antebellum days, so the objects in question could very well be agricultural. But on the side where I found these objects, there is nothing but sugarcane fields -- no housing or industrial sites at all, except for some kind of refinery in the distance.

Can anyone identify the below object?

I found it along a Union picket line near New Iberia, La. (same spot where I found the 6 case shot balls). It may be agricultural, for all I know, but it is heavy iron -- cast iron or wrought iron, I can't tell from so small a specimen.

I'm thinking, however, it could be the "neck" or "shank" of a spur, but without the "rowel" -- but I can see no "rowel box" (slot for the rowel to go). (I need to run the piece through my electrolysis device.) I'm just grasping at straws, since it may not be CW-related, but it's kinda an interesting piece. . . . (Actually, it looks like an iron stiletto heel!)
