I've bumped into "The Century War Book" for sale a few places (Amazon, e-bay, etc.) and while I'm not really interested in buying it, I'm curious: is it some sort of abridgment or condensed version of Battles and Leaders?

I haven't compared them side-by side, to be honest. I picked it up mainly for the images, as I'm always on the lookout for that sort of thing.

Great, thanks for the confirmation.

I guess Ned Bradford wasn't the first to abridge them, huh?

(The abridgments clip out most of the naval stuff, anyway... hence the four-volume version on my shelf  )
