These are gorgeous! When the screen first loaded, the very first picture I thought was a painting! Some of these horses are gaited too. Where did you take these pictures? I see a palm something in the background so certainly not up north!

That's some fine photography there. Can we suppose these were pre-focused to an expected arrival location? Then a high ISO pre-set that allowed a fast shutter speed in order to capture the action sharply? Or were these just lucky auto-set point-and-shoots (in which case I don't want to hear it!). Regardless, the framing and timing are impressive - these really bring us to the moment.

I don't know about you at @lelliott19 but that first picture has the most "swash" of any swashbuckling picture I've ever seen! Greg, is it possible to get that in real reproduction canvas print for my home office?

I agree, except to note that Brady or Gardner didn't leave us any stop-action shots to compare. They couldn't get anywhere near the film sensitivity (400 ISO) or shutter speed (1/64 second) enough to stop the action, though their lens apertures (f11 - f16 Gettmore?) might have been sufficient in daytime.

(I'm not wishing to detract from just appreciating these as CW scenes, but I'm supposing some here are interested in the technical stuff -- keep or toss).
