Relative to my thread on possible double agent Morris Greenwall, I came across this cryptic reference in the OR.
"Captain Davidson, commanding a battery of Virginia artillery, now it is believed in the region of Southwestern Virginia or East Tennessee, and Lieutenant-Colonel Dunn, commanding a regiment of Virginia partisan cavalry, are flagrant instances, among several not far behind them."

This is from the Ohio State website, referenced as Serial 128, p 0583. Now I'm going to see if I can find him of Fold3.

Probably Captain Greenlee Davidson. His full service record on Fold3 is 62 pages and as such is too large of a file (36mb) to be posted here. Snooped a bit through the files, seems he was killed at the Battle of Chancellorsville.
If you come across anything related to crimes, I'd appreciate it.

@TerryB I split the files into 4 parts for you. (I work nights, otherwise would have done it last night before work)

I really appreciate it! I'm going to spend some time tonight trying to decipher the handwriting in the first section. Later, we gets some cards that refer to the judge advocate, so that could be relevant.
