Can anyone help identify this?

Sort of looks like a tooth or other part from an agricultural implement or auger to me. Lots of stuff tends to fall off of agricultural implements, especially old ones. I used to have a dog that would find smallish parts that came off equipment, and proudly bring them to me. The wear and tear tends to be very hard on fasteners on equipment. Fasteners on the moving parts on farm implements are designed to fail and let the part fall off, in situations were the stress would otherwise cause massive damage to the implement. If memory serves me, the fastener acts as a "shear pin" and releases the attached part. I've lost count of how many soft bolts/shear pins, and other pins, I have replaced on the rotary mower. If a small part is released, those small parts tend to be very difficult to find in a field, and are left to be found as relics by future generations.
