So I contacted a vexillologist who very graciously allowed me to use their artwork for this project.
I was dismayed at the availability of confederate flags in mainstream merchandise. I'm a radical unionist and proud of it. So I obtained some images of reproduced Union regimental colors. I had to do some photoshop work to get a printable result. But here is what I fly at my mundane campsites:
I had the 2CR colors printed as a 2x3 flag. I'll order infantry colors for the 9th Regulars this spring.
Again, not for presentations, though I might make mini flags to hand out to kids at events.
