I'm trying to pinpoint where exactly a outpost of the Washington DC defenses called "Camp Chase" was located. The regiment I'm studying spent a few days there in October 1862. An October 1862 report from General Casey indicates one of his three brigades in the DC defenses is positioned there, but the only thing I could find on LOC about the Camp (I checked a bunch of maps) was a lithograph of the 13th NH's camp, and it is credited as being in Arlington.

One source of mine says Arlington, another says five miles from DC, and another source says they were in Bailey Crossroads.

Anyone know anything else about this outpost?
