I'm trying to find out if prisoners who died of infectious diseases like smallpox were buried separately from the rest?

According to the Camp Chase Mortuary Register ( https://archive.org/details/selectedrecordso0027unit/page/n38/mode/1up ) most of the deaths in camp were from one disease or another and all the burials were performed in the prison cemetery. Each grave was dug sequentially as the deaths occurred irrespective of the cause of death.
