Wish I could come, have reenactments the weekend before and after that. I'll get to one one of these days. I'll be down that way in the Spring for the Fort Blakely reenactment.

That has always been one of the few reenactments that I go see has I started relic hunting there when I was 14 and it is one of the best preserved battlefields there is.

They have it every other year, was down there 3 years ago and in monsooned on us and cut it short, was a great event till then. Wanted to get back there again in hopefully better weather.

I have not been to a muster since Chattanooga. I gave some thought of going this year, but Mobile is a very long drive. Also I have visited there before. I went to training in Alabama and for what ever reason, I felt unconfirmable there, perhaps being from the North. So for months while in Alabama, I was a on base 'rat' and although I had a car, rarely ventured far off base. Well except the Army put me up for four months in a off base motel, so from the motel to the base every day and back to the motel.

My niece is getting married in Thousand Oaks so if I go anywhere, to will be in the opposite direction. Maybe next year.
