Eastern Oregon, the high desert, is legendary! Even today, with all our fancy GPS and everything, people get lost out there - sometimes forever! :eek: Went out there last year looking for an old ice cave - like to never got back! The other part of my allotment is in the far southeastern part of Oregon near Nevada...Getting into the Sierras but still need horses to do the roundups!

That is some of the most beautiful land on earth too. The Owyhee River and the canyon it runs through is one of the undiscovered gems of the North West..Joseph Canyon, Ochoco Mountains, just awesome!
