Okay foodie friends. I shared the ground steak sandwich earlier this month so I think my secret is out. I love a good burger!!! So I thought I'd share another NC favorite, although I think it may have gotten its start in Wisconsin with the Culver's restaurant chain. Butter burgers are delicious and super easy to make.

Ingredients:
Ground beef
Salted butter diced (1 oz piece per 8 oz of ground beef)
Cajun seasoning (or seasoning of your choice)
Cheese slices (if desired)

Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine your ground beef and the small butter pieces. Don't over mix, just gently toss together to evenly distribute the butter. Form the meat into 8 oz patties. Season the patties on all sides with the Cajun seasoning or seasoning of your choice. Grill, bake or fry as desired. Add the cheese (if desired) and cover to get it all nice and melty.

For extra flavor, top your patties with the simple burger sauce below along with all of your usual favorite toppings.

Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons A1 steak sauce

Instructions:
Combine the ingredients in a bowl. Spoon on top of prepared beef patties while they're piping hot.

For even more buttery flavor, smooth a small amount of butter on the top burger buns before you heat them. Warm burger buns are essential!

Sounds yummy! I'll have to try the sauce as well. I have always been an A1 steak sauce fan.
