Burnside 1865 Spencer Springfield conversion rear sight screw?

(burnside 1865 spencer Springfield conversions)
I have 2 of these guns and they both have this very strange rear sight and screw.
Any one ever see this type of 'snake eyes' rear sight screw?
The ladder on the pictured gun is broken.
Is there a special tool made to remove it?

That's a standard Springfield sight screw, places like Dixie Gun Works or Lodgewood.

I agree with Johan - get the specialized tool to remove this special screw!
