Good morning ..... I got this bullet when I was a kid about 55 years ago, forgot about it, then just found it again yesterday. Can anyone tell me any details about it. I know nothing other that it looks to be from the Civil War era...

Welcome From THE Heart Of Dixie. Looks like a standard 3 ring minie. They came in several different calibers so without measurements its hard to say if its a 58 or 69 cal.

Most likely a US plug base .69 made by Williams, it also looks to be fired. Nice specimem!
