That's a lot of trees and they still haven't completed that wall. Whenever I see a stockade constructed in this manner, I always wonder how long it'll take the termites to eat the bottoms off the logs. Between this sort of construction and rail fences, it's a wonder there were any trees left standing in this historic period.
