Is anyone in this reenacting community on CWT watching the Apple TV docu-series Blackbird? It's about serial killer Larry Hall who, among other things, used Civil War reenactments as cover/travel for his nefarious deeds. If you reenacted Federal in the early 90's in the midwest, you may have been in formation with him 
Been following this saga on/off since the story first broke back in the day and it's weird seeing it portrayed again and trying to explain to folks, including my kids, that "...while I didn't 'know' him, I remember him in the battalion..." I'm not trying to stir things up but thought I'd see if anyone here is re-living this unpleasant and tragic part of the past. FWIW as disturbing as it is, the show is really, really well done if you're into "true crime" shows.
