Beverly H. Robinson

He was not popular with Lee, Longstreet, or Stuart. They thought he was more political connected than talented as an officer. Lee was able to get rid of him after the retreat at Gettysburg.

There was a reason that D.H. Hill gave up Robertson's brigade without a peep when he was repeatedly refusing Lee's entreaties and requests to reinforce the AoNV before the Gettysburg Campaign.

His eyes may be piercing but they couldn't see the AotP or report their whereabouts to Lee.

Also there is a reason Stuart didn't take him on the ride. He about got Stuart captured or killed at Brandy Station.

Nice work (as usual).

Just a clarification, this is Beverly "Robertson", not "Robinson".

Aaah, I have him named as Robertson, but I botched the title. :( Thanks man. :)

Now that I look at him again Zuzah, you're right; he does have a sad expression in his eyes and on his face.

Yes, I don't know why though he looks like that, it looks to be his ordinary gaze.
