Before & After: Charles Ewing + bonus CDV

I've posted many 'Before & After' photos on the site earning high accolades in my own mind. And out of the goodness of my heart I've posted several 'bonus' photos. Now, for the first time in the history of CWT, I am posting a 'Before & After' photo with a 'bonus' CDV! (Because of the exhaustive mental work involved I may never do this again.)

Seriously, I just thought it interesting how much extraneous stuff is to the left of the larger photo compared with the CDV. - National Archives photos. Heritage Auctions CDV.

Is the board there to reflect light? Otherwise, that side looks like a bit of a jumble sale! Handsome man!

I think we get a peek into behind the scenes at Brady's studio. The bottom photo is the bonus carte de visite. I think you guys are messing with me now!
