Z zburkett Sergeant Major Joined Aug 21, 2015 Location Orange County, Virginia Nov 18, 2018 #6 The mountings look like those for a 1816. If the blade is a little broader at the back, as opposed to triangular it is the 1816. The musket was converted to percussion and used through the Civil War.
