It's time! When I was working on "Blood and Glory - The Civil War in Color" I was asked to not release any of the images form the show for six months and that time has come!
This first image of Battery Chatfield is actually part of our 2016 Civil War in Color calendar for 2016. I did receive advance permission for this and another image in the calendar that was also used by the History Channel since we had to have it published prior to the six month deadline. When you purchase a copy of the calendar you also receive a link to download this (along with the other full size monthly images) as wallpaper (without watermark) for your PC, phone or tablet. I am sharing this one first because I have had it as my personal wallpaper for the last two months.
This image was used during the artillery portion of hour two of the show and depicts on of the large guns on Morris Island.
