Can't find any matches in lengths of CW carbines or long rifles. Do you think there is more barrel that I haven't found or does 13' match anything that you know of?

Do you clean it off, remove the rust, etc. to see what you have?

I agree, only thing that made me think different was what seems to be a sight on the end and the was the larger end symmetrically lines up with it.

I have it soaking as we speak.

Electrolysis is going to be need but just from looking with the taper, it is nor a barrel.

Looks like it may have a universal joint at the end. Perhaps the remains of farm equipment?
