Up for sale are two US Civil War Austrian Lorenz rifles. One is an Imperial marked M1854 1860 dated long rifle, the other is a commercial M1854 Extra Corps short rifle. Both are in original .54cal with very good bores. Both have very strong locks and good stocks. The long rifle has a replacement nipple, the short rifle has an excellent original nipple. $750 shipped each.

I am interested in the Imperial marked M1854 Austrian Lorenz you have advertised for sale.

Have you sold either of the rifles? If not, I want to consider the longer of the two. I look forward to your response.

Thanks

@brcampbe
it's not a commercial M1854 Extra Corps short rifle.
Pirko Carl (Vienna, erw. 1831-1867 died), is a k.k. Army contractor the Emperor! The rifle marked C.Pirko or "CP", have a higher degree of finish with exceptional mechanical finish.
