We had six players who answered all questions correctly, so we have six co-champions for the month of August.

Congratulations to our winners, @amweiner, @Copperhead-mi, @FarawayFriend @lelliott19, @sarladaise, and @Wallyfish.

SWAG BAG!!! I used WheelDecide to randomly select the winner of the Trivia Swag. @Wallyfish is the lucky winner this month. I again apologize I have FarawayFriend's and Chellers' swag sitting next to the door ready to go to the PO. I am terrible! lol

Congratulations to all our participants and co-winners. I almost screwed up the very last question about the 2 parties in the 1864 election because I thought the answer "Republican and Democratic Party" was obvious and I didn't even have to do any checking on that one. Just before I hit "enter" on my keyboard, I thought I better double check myself and I'm glad I did. National Union Party... I forgot all about that one and I have an original CDV from the 1864 Election with Lincoln and Johnson's picture beneath the "National Union Party" banner.

I've decided to take a break from trivia. With the latest forest fire evacuation zone just a mile from my house, somehow this game seems rather unimportant at the moment. I am currently taking refuge on the Washington coast from the horrendous smoke, and will probably stay until the fall rains start. If the house goes (which seems unlikely now that the wind has shifted), it's insured!
