Another sad day for the CSA....

Today marks another sad anniversary for the Confederacy as the great calvary officer J.E.B. Stuart was mortally wounded in 1864 at the battle of Yellow Tavern near Richmond

He died the following day and even though it was late in the war his loss to the South was arguably not too
far in significance as the death of Thomas J. Jackson the prior year was to the CSA's chance of success
in the outcome of the war.
