That is sad. It boggles my mind that people are going to bars, and that's ok...but an antique show, in probably a better ventilated space can't go on..Then again, people can't seem to wear the masks correctly, and they sure don't understand 6 feet distance in the real world.
The Shiloh muster could always be used as an impromptu relic show for hurting dealers. Especially if we advertise there be relics there with possible price tags.

Did you ever think of a "trunk show"? Think of a tailgate party but each participant has their wares on a table set up outside of their vehicle. You can be outside and maintain social distance.
Everyone can just look at the bright side, that there is lot of demand being pent up. First real big show I reckon sales will go up a good percentage. The time till then may see a decrease in sales, but they'll be better than before come show time.
Also I guess good time to build up inventory at COVID prices.

One small detail is that dealers use shows/networking to get inventory-many dealers are hurting for inventory also. And I haven't seen any dealers offering fire sale prices.

You know my motto: Buy high and sell low. I've made more boat payments and college tuition payments to dealers than I like to think about and as PT Barnum said: There's a sucker born every minute.

Oh I'm well aware. I might not have ever been to CW show much less set up at one, but I got plenty of gun show hours logged behind some tables. As for fire sales my brother caused me to have to throw a heck of one several years ago I still ain't recovered from! We're just now talking again after five years of mutual hatred. First time we've ever gotten along actually.
I'm just trying to be positive n a very negative time.
