I just wonder what he died from.
If he served and fought at Nolensvill, TN
maybe he died there.

If he served it would've been with the
1st TN or 44th consolidated infantry.

Maybe it was of natural causes.
It just seems interesting to me.
I'm not too sure if there is a way to find out.

It appears that Pvt. Warren Stovall of Co. F, First Tennessee Volunteers, was discharged in July 1862, after a little more than one year of service, on account of his age (37).

The Warren Stovall in the 44th Consolidated enlisted in January 1863. He is reported to have died at Newsome Hospital, Chattanooga on June 21, 1863.

Not sure these are the same man. I don't see a record of a pension.

He was discharged July 27, 1862 for being overage. He enlisted April 27, 1861 for a year. His year was up, those reenlisting were signed up for "3 years or the duration," He would be 35 in three years. The 1st draft law was passed in April, 1862 and made the "cut-off" age 35. He was in Co.F (Turney's) 1st Tennessee. This was the 1st Tennessee of Archer's Brigade, ANV. (1st, 7th, and 14th Tennessee Regiments I believe, were tho only Tennessee units in Lee's Army. Fields 1st Tennessee was in the AOT. (Sam Watkins Regiment)

The Stovall in the 44th Consolidated was enlisted at Fayetteville (Lincoln County?), which is just a fart and a skip over from Franklin Co.
