We've had some threads on Alexandria in the Civil War, Forts in the D. C. area that included Alexandria, and several on Mercy Street, the hospital drama set in Alexandria. So I couldn't resist this entry into the annual Washington Post Peeps Diorama Contest.

Is that a jackalope... I mean peepalope?
 
Actually, I think this one was from 2011, but I still love it. I've made Easter Peeps cards for the kids and grandkids, who probably think, "How strange."

I love looking at the winners in the WaPo contest.
