An e-wake for Larry Cockerham

On my visit to Franklin, Larry said just follow me (in cars). After several turns and direction changes (I could tell b the sun), he stopped and said "I lost, need to turn around". Well he got me where we were going eventually.

Larry gave me my first pleasant stop on my Tennessee trip last May which culminated in my buying a house in Galena, so he is a part of where I am now.

When Larry gave me a compliment on a post it made my day and from the tone of these posts it made many of your days also.

To those who didn't know him just go almost anywere in the old threads and you will know him.
 
I still miss him every day.
Thank you for bumping this up. Larry was the epitome of a true Christian gentleman. He is sorely missed.
Actually I was rereading some of Larry's threads this afternoon.

I think it's great that Mike ( @civilwartalk ) created a separate sub forum for his threads within the Forrest forum.
