An e-wake for Larry Cockerham

On my visit to Franklin, Larry said just follow me (in cars). After several turns and direction changes (I could tell b the sun), he stopped and said "I lost, need to turn around". Well he got me where we were going eventually.

Larry gave me my first pleasant stop on my Tennessee trip last May which culminated in my buying a house in Galena, so he is a part of where I am now.

When Larry gave me a compliment on a post it made my day and from the tone of these posts it made many of your days also.

Yes. Larry is gone and all are hurting in their own way. Larry was special.

Actually I was rereading some of Larry's threads this afternoon.

I think it's great that Mike ( @civilwartalk ) created a separate sub forum for his threads within the Forrest forum.

He was gone before I found this forum and so I never "met" him. His thread, AoT-1865 is pinned to the top of the Western Theatre Sub forum.
